On May 5, the General Administration of Market Regulation held a "double random" on-site activity for 2023 national supervision of product quality in Beijing, and the relevant person in charge of the quality supervision department and the information center, as well as a number of consumer representatives from the China Consumers Association and the University of Science and Technology Beijing participated in the activity.

In this activity, consumer representatives randomly selected 2023 state supervision and random inspection enterprises on the information platform of product quality state supervision and random inspection, and randomly matched enterprises and sampling inspection institutions to start 2023 state supervision and random inspection of product quality "double random" work.

The 75 products randomly selected in this event, including baby clothing, household appliances, food-related products, agricultural machinery and other products, are consumer goods and important industrial products that have a close relationship with consumers. Products included in the supervision list need to pass risk monitoring and safety estimation, combined with consumers' online voting to determine that the production enterprises of these products constitute the enterprise database of this random inspection. At the same time, the General Administration of Market Supervision adopts the method of open bidding, and selects qualified and strong sampling inspection institutions from the bidding institutions to establish a list of inspection institutions. Finally, the enterprise database and the list of inspection institutions have established the work plan for the "double random" national supervision and sampling of product quality through random selection and random matching on the "double random" platform.

In the next step, the General Administration of Market Supervision will adhere to the problem orientation, focus on the key links, and carry out the 2023 national supervision and random inspection of product quality, and publish the results of the random inspection to the society in a timely manner.
